Lebanese Za'atar

How to use

This Lebanese Za’atar is ready to use. The classic way of having za’atar is to dip bread in extra virgin olive oil and then za’atar. Add to mince to make kofta or burgers with a Lebanese warm nutty flavor. 

For a tasty treat, brush pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle it with za'atar. Cut the bread into wedges and bake in a 350° oven for 5-10 minutes, just until the bread is browned and crisp. Za’atar also makes a superb dry rub for roast chicken or lamb, stews, as well as a great seasoning for salads or vegetables. Or simply sprinkle as condiment for that extra middle eastern flavor.

Store in a cool, dry place.
